This is not true, it's not usually the Sulfites that give you the headache!
A very small number of the population may have anallergic reaction to Sulfites and in extreme cases it can cause death.
That is why wine bottles are labeled with that warning. If you still don't believe me try eating a handful of dried fruits. They have a
higher concentration of Sulfites than wine.
All libations from the grape contain Sulfites. European wines have the same amount as American or Australian wines. This chemical is used as preservative to keep you wine stable and fruity during the winemaking process.
Wine headaches are a highly personal problem. The answer has to do with histamines and all other complex scientific reasons. Some people
have problems with red wines or with German wines. Please consult you doctor about this.
Also remember if you consume too much vino without drinking water it can cause dehydration. This is also another cause of headaches. So
please remember to sip a little water if you are enjoying a night ofthe endless glass of wine.
